What is Ugadi
Ugadi, the Telugu (an Indian regional language spoken in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh ) New Year, celebrated with Ugadi Pachadi’s six flavors symbolizing life’s experiences. Homes are decorated, and new clothes are worn, marking new beginnings.
Top Indian Players namely: GM Arjun Erigaisi, GM Harikrishna Pentala, GM Harika Dronavalli and GM Koneru Humpy come from the Telugu community.
Performances
The Ugadi Celebrations became a vibrant showcase of talent, embracing participants of all ages. From the boundless enthusiasm of young children to adults, the event witnessed a diverse array of performances. Cultural songs echoed alongside popular movie melodies, and dynamic dance groups illuminated the stage, creating a truly inclusive and captivating experience for everyone present.

Entertainment at Ugadi 2025 Celebrations
The Ugadi Celebrations were a whirlwind of entertainment, thanks to the incredible performances by artists from the USA and India. The singers’ powerful vocals and Raju’s hilarious mimicry of Telugu actors had everyone engaged. The evening’s energy was contagious, leading to a spontaneous dance party. I even found myself on stage for my first-ever dance – a truly memorable Ugadi!
