Tarun Kanyamarala
CEO & Co-Founder
Tarun Kanyamarala is Chess International Master (IM) and the 2022 Irish Chess Champion. He is currently the youngest International Master in the history of Irish chess, making his debut in the prestigious Chess Olympiad in 2022, representing Ireland proudly on the world stage.
With multiple tournament victories under his belt, Tarun continues to play and compete at the highest international level. His long-term goal is to become Ireland’s first homegrown Grandmaster. Through ICTL, Tarun designs software solutions aimed at modernizing chess training
Trisha Kanyamarala
COO & Co-Founder
Trisha Kanyamarala is widely recognized as Ireland’s first Woman Grandmaster (WGM). She won the Irish Women’s Championship in 2022 and has proudly represented Ireland in multiple Chess Olympiads, leading the national team on Board 1.
Having competed across nearly 40 countries, Trisha combines sports leadership with direct project strategy. Through ICTL, she works on game design, UX logic, and chess program outreach, with a special mission to inspire and empower the next generation of female chess champions.
